History

The Eastern North Carolina Christmas Tree Growers Association (ENCCTGA) was founded in January 1990 in Kinston, NC, bringing together a dedicated group of growers committed to advancing the Christmas tree industry in the region. For over 20 years, ENCCTGA has fostered a strong network of farmers, vendors, and industry professionals, all working to cultivate high-quality trees and promote the tradition of choosing and cutting real Christmas trees. Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, the association continues to support its members and ensure the success of North Carolina’s choose & cut farms for generations to come.
